Elections 2024

There will be three elections held in Scio Township in 2024:

February 27, Presidential Primary Election
August 6, State Primary Election
November 5, State General (and Presidential) Election

 
Early Voting Is Available at Scio Township Meeting Hall

Early in-person voting will be available for 9 days preceding each election, from two Saturdays before the election date through the Sunday right before Election Day. There will be no early voting on the Monday before Election Day. The early voting site for Scio Township voters is the Meeting Hall at Township Hall, 827 N Zeeb Road. Alternatively, voters wishing to cast their ballot during the 9 days of Early Voting may use the Washtenaw County Learning Resource Center located at 4135 Washtenaw Avenue in Ann Arbor.

Every time you move, you must register to vote at your new address 

Register to vote online or register in person at the Clerk’s Office, located inside Township Hall at 827 North Zeeb Road, during regular business hours: Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4 pm

  • Bring a photo id (driver’s license or state-issued id) 
  • If your driver’s license doesn’t include your most recent address, be prepared to show a piece of mail such as a utility bill or bank statement to establish your residency in this jurisdiction
  • Online voter registration is available until 14 days before an election; after that, all registrations must be received in person at the Clerk's Office in Township Hall
  • The Clerk's Office will be open special weekend hours before elections.
