Scio Township transitioned to a single waste-hauler in January of 2021 by contracting with Green For Life Environmental Services (GFL).  The contract under which GFL operates in the Township is exclusive. No other waste haulers are authorized to offer waste or recycling services in the Township through November 18, 2025. 

If you plan to be away from home for an extended period of time and would like to stop your trash and recycling pickup while you are away, complete and submit this form to gfluscustomerservice@gflenv.com.

GFL offers yard waste collection from April through December. Place this COMPOST sticker on a metal or plastic receptacle. Stickers are available at the front desk in Township Hall, 827 N Zeeb Road, Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4 pm.
