The Washtenaw County Road Commission has closed the intersection of Miller and Zeeb roads to construct a roundabout. Construction should be complete by mid-July, weather dependent. The suggested Miller Road detour map is here. The suggested Zeeb Road detour map is here.

As a General Law township, Scio Township is governed by a Board of Trustees comprised of seven officers: Supervisor, Treasurer, Clerk, and four Trustees. All positions are elected every four years. The next election is in 2024.
